Procol Harum never was much into live performance, but they certainly shone here.

However ... rather unfortunate video cut on the lyric "One of sixteen vestal virgins" at approximately 4:10 ...

Go ahead ... count em ... not exactly how I pictured them ...

Used to sit in the newsroom at the Anchorage Times and poke fun at this series, but we never missed an episode.

I want her. Whips, chains, Yiddish, the whole smash. I could be her house of love. (Until my long-suffering wife found out, which would be in about 15 minutes).
Until that glorious day, I remain a Union Man:

Sandy Denny was one of the original Stawbs, although not on the video I just posted.
Here she is, singing Who Knows Where the Time Goes with Fairport Convention.
Test your mid and upper ranges on this:

God rest her soul; it were a good one.

Margo Timmins has a voice that just melts your brain, pours in, and becomes a part of your soul ...

Band does some nice covers ... try this one out, all you Elvis fans ..

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ6EGsZdxpE

Junkies recently put out a four album set (The Nomad Series), all with a different theme. I highly recommend Sing In My Meadow ... Here they let the animal out and let it hunt ...

PS ... some very nice live sessions over on Archive.org also. Nice selection to introduce newbies to the band, and a good listen even if you follow them ... here's my favorite, for the cost of a bit of bandwidth ...
