I just bought this amp off marketplace. The previous owner just had it serviced. I have the receipt. From the repair shop. He said that it has good sound and no hum.
I want to upgrade it. I have built a 5e3 from a kit.  I can follow a layout diagram .

Please help me spend my money on my st70

Agree with Peter here. Listen to it, you might find you actually like it as is. Aftermarket driver boards considered "upgrades" only alter the sound from original. Some prefer the stock circuit with the amp refreshed and brought into spec as designed. Many however believe an "upgraded" amp with completely different circuit is the only way to go. Read Dave Gillespies ST-70 baseline test paper and give the original engineers a chance to show you what they did. Money can be better spent...

    No. They work fine.

Non tampered dynacos tend to work year after year. Tampered ones tend to need repair often.

If you want to solder and build something then get a kit of something and start building.
As an example build yourself a preamp from a kit.
